Judgement Day Predictions, brought to you by obviously this is a ficticious book makers and not meant to offend

Golf - The top 4 seeds (John-Matt, Nick-Paul, Ross-Liam, Taylor-Joel) are even odds. Seeds 5-8 will determine the outcome. Prediction: Hurricanes to win 5 matches to 3.

Gym Tests - Two time Superstars runner up Robbie White will be sorely missed by the Hurricane in this gruelling event. Based on his superlative performance in the recent summer Superstars, Taylor is likely to bag bonus points for his team but it is unlikely to be enough to win the event for the Hurricane. Prediction: Tight as a gnat’s chuff but Thundercats to win with a total of 10 more than the Hurricane.

Cycle Relay - Nothing is known about this event or any competitor's ability. However, Captain Hurricane is a regular cyclist and the Hurricane have a significant overall weight advantage. This is likely to be a deciding factor in this all or nothing event. Prediction: Humiliation for the Thundercats. Hurricane to win by a mile.

Arm Wrestling - Like the previous event, this is a new event for the Superstars competition. Little is known about competitors' ability. However, the weight, and probable strength, advantage lies with the oldies for this demanding event. Prediction: Thundercats to win.

Footy - The Hurricane are more experienced footballers and are also more familiar with the format of this event. However previous Superstars competitions have proved that anything can happen in this event. This will be very close and time could play a very important factor. Prediction: Hurricane to win by 2 goals or 10 seconds.

Basketball - The Hurricane have some excellent shot takers in Oli, Nick, and Ronan, and the Thundercats will miss their best basketball player, Sunil, who has recently withdrawn suffering from testicular atrophy. Like the footy, this event will be close.
Prediction: Hurricane to win by 3 basket and the quickest time.

Tug of war - Their weight advantage should put the Thundercats in a strong position, but the tactical twist of nominating a competitor to withdraw from the event after each pull could prove essential. Any rain on the day will seriously affect the result of this event. Prediction: Thundercats to win 6 - 4.

800M - The recent format change to this event has not done the Thundercats any favours. In the previous format they could have salvaged a few essential points. Now it's an "all or nothing" event and has "Hurricanes" written all over it. To put this in perspective, Captain Hurricane won the fluffyside Superstars 800m in 2004 by quite a considerable distance but only came fourth in the recent AJCW Superstars. The Hurricane are quick. The best the Thundercats can hope for is an act of God and the bonus point. The battle between the anti-nominations should prove entertaining in any case! Prediction: A breeze for the Hurricane.

Despite some good individuals the Thundercats are the weaker of the two teams in both of the evening events and are likely to be playing for pride alone.

Darts - The Thundercats have no real darts players. Captain Thundercat fluked a first place finish in the recent AJCW superstars but will his luck be put to the test again in this event. Captain Hurricane is likely to be in the pub right now practising his darts and will almost certainly be looking to redeem himself after an appalling performance in the AJCW superstars. Prediction: Hurricane to win by 50-100 points.

Pool - The Hurricane have many good pool players and the Thundercats have four non pool players. Even a friendly draw for the Thundercats will probably prove insignificant. Prediction: Hurricane to win 5 games to 3.
